Making a Purchase
Browse the store and add items you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished shopping, click on 'checkout' and you will then be able to make payment via Credit or Debit card.
If you are shopping from outside of the UK, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency at the current exchange rate. *Please note that giving the wrong country information may result is incorrect shipping charges being applied to your order. We reserve the right to retain your order pending any additional payment required if you give the wrong delivery information when placing your order.
All prices on our website are inclusive of VAT, but exclusive of delivery and packaging costs. There will be an additional charge for delivery and packaging - our website will automatically calculate postage based on the weight of the items being shipped.
Delivery & Back Orders
Items ordered from our website will be delivered as soon as possible. Every effort is made to ensure that delivery is within a maximum of 7 working days (working days being Monday to Friday and excluding bank holidays and national holidays). All goods are subject to availability at the time of receiving your order.
In the event that we are unable to supply your goods in a timely fashion, we will inform you immediately and advise you of the expected delivery date. All products are delivered either by courier or by Royal Mail parcelpost, depending on their size and value. On occasions different products in the same order may be delivered separately.
If your item is not in stock, we will order the item for you direct from the manufacturer. This means that there may be a slight delay in getting you order to you. We will contact you if this applies to your order. Please ensure you supply us with an e-mail address and day time phone number when placing your order.
Our website will automatically calculate postage based on the weight of the items being shipped. Item weights are calculated on the weight of the package - this should not be confused with the weight of the wools (shown as part of the details for wool items) as this is based on the minimum weight of the contents excluding any packaging. The total weight of a purchase (including any packaging) is shown on the final page of the checkout.

We cannot accept any responsibility if the items supplied are damaged beyond dispatch from our company address. If nobody is available at the delivery address to accept the goods, no liability can be accepted. In this situation, the order will eventually be returned to us by Royal Mail, but we will be unable to refund the delivery cost the customer has paid. If delivery costs are paid for a second time, we will be able to re-send the order.
Our delivery charges as of 19 May 2013 fall into 3 categories *we reserve the right to change these at any time according to Royal Mail and Courier company price increases:-

With the information the customer supplies, we use our customers’ names, addresses and payment details for the purpose of completing transactions. Our secure payment system is powered by SecureTrading and Lloyds TSB Cardnet, which ensures that customers’ card and personal details are encrypted before they are sent across the internet - this means that unauthorised parties cannot see them. When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any website.
If you are not happy with your purchase in any way you have 28 days from the point of sale to contact us. All queries must be accompanied by a covering letter and a copy of the email confirmation receipt.
We will provide a full refund (including postage costs) for a returned item if the return is a result of an error that the company has made or the goods are faulty.
While we endeavour to ensure wherever possible that our sample pictures are a true representation of the relevant items, we cannot guarantee the quality of your monitor or the resolution being used. We would suggest a minimum resolution of 800 x 600 and 16 bit colour to view our samples.
We aim to ensure that our descriptions are 100% accurate. However manufacturers will from time to time amend product details and whilst we endeavour to keep abreast of such changes, we cannot guarantee that changes won’t be made without prior notification to ourselves. Therefore there may be some minor differences in the product received when compared to the description on our website.
Ownership and Rights of Use
All of the information, data, links, website design, logos, graphics, text, and the arrangement and selection thereof, are the sole property of A Woolly Tail Limited. All rights are reserved. Any use of the website or its contents, including the copying or storing in whole or in part, other than for the customer’s personal non-commercial use is prohibited without our express written permission.
Changes to Terms and Conditions and the Website
A Woolly Tail Limited reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time and the customer should therefore review them as often as possible. We may update this page and make changes to the material on the website and to the goods and prices described in it at any time without notice and the customer is bound by any such modifications or revisions.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
The contract between A Woolly Tail Limited and the customer will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English Law. The English courts shall have jurisdiction to resolve any dispute between the parties.
